Our Home Base 200-Hr Teacher Training course will allow you to become a Certified Yoga Instructor. Whether you are looking to become a yoga teacher, want to take your yoga practice to the next level or want to make a major shift in your everyday life, this program will give you the skills to create that reality.
CONNECT. Our training will foster genuine wholehearted connection. We believe that connection is the key to meaningful relationships and to living a full life.
GROW. We plant the seeds needed for transformative personal growth, that grows beyond the walls of the studio into every aspect of your life. We feel that yoga is a life long practice that develops as we do throughout our lifespan.
LEAD. We require that you show up 100% to each training weekend and step into a position of leadership. We believe that by doing so, you will be able to be at the cause of your life and inspire others to be at forefront of their practice and lives.
About The Program
Our course is divided up into 6 modules and spans over the course of 5 months, allowing students time to both process and put into practice information from the prior weekend. There will be assigned reading and assignments throughout the training. Included with the tuition is 2 one-on-one coaching sessions with two different faculty members of your choice.

Not at all! Yoga is far more than just a physical practice and although, the training will be very physical at times, it is accessible to anyone at whatever stage they are at with their yoga practice. It can be helpful to have take several classes at the studio and with the instructors that are leading the training in order to decide if our style of teaching is the best fit for you.

Yes. It is important that you are present for all weekends of the 200-Hr Training. Each weekend focuses on a different topic and builds upon the last weekend and so in order to learn everything you need to know and be in support of your fellow trainees, we require 100% attendance all days of every weekend. If you have a conflict with only a portion of one of the days, please reach out to discuss if we can accommodate you.

No, we are no longer affiliated with Yoga Alliance. When we began our 200-Hr Teacher Training program in 2018, we registered as a Yoga Alliance Accredited School but have since decided not to renew our membership. Neither as a school nor as individual yoga instructors, did we find benefit from being a part of the organization. Although the primary purpose is to regulate the standards of the yoga industry, at this time they do not have any way to monitor the standards they set. Further, our training modules are created by instructors with extensive knowledge and experience in the area they are leading and we do not wish to mold these trainings into the outdated format that Yoga Alliance requires. We wish for our trainings to provide you with valuable and enriched content that best utilizes your time in training, without the addition of what we believe would be unnecessary and redundant information. We do not require our instructors to be yoga alliance certified to teach with us.

This is a personal decision and we encourage you to decide if it is right for you. It is important to note that Yoga Alliance is NOT an accrediting body like the ACE of AFAA and there is no state or national board exam to becoming a Yoga Instructor. Simply put, for a yearly membership cost, they allow you to use their designation and be apart of their registry of yoga instructors. You are in no way required to be registered with Yoga Alliance in order to teach yoga in any State or Country. We encourage you to examine your goals with teaching yoga and do your research to find out if a studio or where or to whom who wish to teach to requires Yoga Alliance registration.

You will be a 200-Hr Certified Yoga Instructor through Casa Vinyasa. Although teaching at Casa Vinyasa post graduation is not guaranteed, we only hire in-house from our trainings in order to give our trainees ample opportunity. If you decide that you wish to teach with us post graduation, reach out to us to schedule an audition teach. Different studios hire in different ways and so we encourage you to reach out to them to learn more. You may also decide to teach on your own! This could be through your own non-profit, at a business, school, organization or even through creating your own weekly class at your home or local park.

Most Likely! Almost all of our Advanced Teacher Training Modules are available to anyone regardless if they are a yoga instructor or not. If you are not currently a yoga teacher, you may take the modules for your own knowledge and growth or to aid you in your current career path.

Payment Policy
A $500 non-refundable deposit for the program must be paid at time of registration (deducted from total tuition costs). Training certificate will be given after full payment of tuition.
Cancellation/ Refund Policy
If a participant cancels at least 6 weeks prior to the start date of the Training, he or she will receive a refund of all tuition monies paid as of such cancellation date, less the $500 non-refundable deposit.
If a participant cancels prior to the start of the Program but within 6 weeks of the start of the Program, he or she will not be entitled to a refund of any tuition paid; however, he or she will receive a credit to be used towards a future Casa Vinyasa training program equal to 100% of all tuition paid as of such cancellation date, less the $500 non-refundable deposit.
If a participant cancels on or following the start date of the Program, he or she will not be entitled to a refund of any tuition paid; however, he or she will receive a credit to be used towards a future Casa Vinyasa training program equal to 50% of the pro-rated unused portion of tuition paid as of such cancellation date, less the $500 non-refundable application fee. Any tuition credit received shall expire 12 months from the date of issue.
This program requires 100% of your participation presence to receive your certification of completion. Any unexcused absence is cause for removal from the program without a refund. Casa Vinyasa reserves the right to cancel a program at any time. If Casa Vinyasa cancels the program, a full refund or credit towards a future program will be issued. Casa Vinyasa reserves the right to amend this policy at its sole discretion.
