Meet Melissa Echevarria:

Melissa Echevarria, owner of Casa Vinyasa Yoga Studio, was born in New York City and moved to Florida at the age of two. Growing up along the coast in Fort Lauderdale, she developed a lifelong love for the outdoors, the ocean, and the energy of being in nature—elements that continue to inspire her teaching and the environment she has created within her studio.

What began as a vision has grown into a welcoming, inclusive space where all individuals feel seen, supported, and valued. Melissa leads Casa Vinyasa with heart-centered intention—creating a community where yoga is accessible to every body, every age, and every level of experience. Today, the studio proudly serves students ranging from 4-year-olds in our kids classes to 86 years young, reflecting a truly diverse and vibrant community.

Melissa’s teaching is rooted in connection, authenticity, and a deep respect for the individual journey. She is passionate about creating classes that encourage strength, mobility, and mindfulness while fostering a sense of belonging.

Beyond the studio, Melissa has expanded her offerings by hosting immersive retreats, including two unforgettable experiences in Italy. These retreats provide students with the opportunity to deepen their practice, build meaningful connections, and experience yoga beyond the studio walls.

In her personal time, Melissa cherishes her role as a grandmother "Gaga" to her two boys, Jesse and Adam. She enjoys spending time with family, gardening, cooking, and reading—simple, grounding moments that bring balance to her full and meaningful life. Melissa continues to lead Casa Vinyasa with passion and purpose, creating a space where community, movement, and connection come together in a way that feels like home.  A place where all are seen, heard and chosen.
