Melissa Echevarria, Co-Founder of Casa Vinyasa Yoga Studio was born in NYC, and moved to Florida at the young age of two.  Learning how to swim in the Atlantic Ocean in the City of Ft. Lauderdale, Melissa's love for outdoors, the ocean and its beaches continues to this day.

Traveling to Phuket Thailand in 2018, Melissa added another 100 hours of training to her E-RYT200 certification attending Level One Baptiste Yoga Training led by Baron Baptiste. August of 2018, Mat Pilates training was added to numerous other trainings in the past which include, Yin, Restorative, Fascia release and Yoga for Parkinson's patients. Melissa attended the MYP's training and currently teaches this class at Casa Vinyasa Yoga Studio early Friday mornings.  She's proud to say this class is often attended by professional athletes during their off-seasons.

Opening the studio doors for the first time is one of my life’s greatest achievements, says Melissa.  "A place where all are seen, heard, and cherished. A studio to practice yoga in every form, every body type, every human being. Staying true to my beliefs and integrities is what forms my teachings, and my connections with students shapes my classes.  Now leading, guiding and teaching future yoga instructors through our Home Base Teacher Training Program has brought another deeper level to my love of this practice and discipline. I love sharing so many smiles and the personal connections created within this Casa home and I pinch myself silly for this is my true life's passions and I am blessed to do it each day with LOVE!", Melissa says.
